Dial A Detail



The owners of Dial Detail Donald Stiggers and Adrian Blaylock are two young black males who aspire to do great things. The owners have known each other since grade school and are working towards one common goal which is success. These young men have combined their life experiences as well as their separate knowledge to create one extraordinary vision. They enjoy the fact that Dial Detail brings something new to their beloved city Dallas, Texas.




Donald is twenty five years old and was born and raised in Dallas Texas. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in Business Management. He was raised with the mentality that one’s success can only be measured by that person. He has had dreams of becoming a Lawyer, Doctor and Professional Athlete. Since the age of fourteen he knew he would be the owner of a company but he never imagined that age twenty five it would happen. No matter how much he achieves in life he does his best to stay humble and hungry.


Adrian is a twenty five year old ex college athlete and he has attended three different colleges on a football scholarship. After realizing that he didn't have passion for sports or his major at the time which was Criminal Justice he decided to pursue his own business.  Adrian use to detail cars for money in high school and he loved vehicles so he used his skills to create Dial Detail. He wanted to start something that he loved doing and this is how Dial Detail was born.

Dial Detail is a mobile detailing service that primarily operates for the convenience of the customer. Their mission is to restore or uphold the elegance of their customer’s property when and where it is most convenient for them. Dial Detail aims to give a high quality of service while keeping their costs lower than the competition.

1.) How do you set yourself apart from the competition?

We set ourselves apart from our competitors by being able to come to you. If you go to a self-wash you will spend an average of about $7-$10, most likely have to wipe key areas on your vehicle to ensure it is clean and still have to clean the interior yourself. For our stationary competitors we feel we set ourselves apart by being able to come to you, and alter any package that we have. 

If you are at home we can clean your vehicle before your evening out. If you’re at work and don’t feel like being bothered with trying to set up an appointment for when you get off and get home to relax, we can detail your car without interrupting your work. Or if you’re simply just out running errands we can clean your vehicle and have you on your way which would give you time to focus on other necessities.




2.) Why do you think it’s important to be passionate about your business?

 It is important to have a passion in this field because you are performing a manual labor service outside. With no building to control the climate/temperature you must be patient and have to adapt to unforeseen issues every day. Without the passion driving you to get out of bed at an irregular time, or push you into unfavorable weather, it is doubtful that one could stay motivated to a level that ensures a hard work mentality every single day no matter what.

3.) What inspired you to start your own business?

We became entrepreneurs because we love the flexibility of being your own boss. We are part of a generation that wants to make more money, but also wants more vacations or time off in general. With Dial Detail we are kind of doing both by being able to work less hours a day and bring in the same amount or more money than our previous jobs. In a state that encourages growth and in dependency we felt it just took the right idea for us to build our starter company. 

4.) Are you running any specials at the moment?

 We do not have specials at the moment. We do give percentages off for those that are able to get more than two cars together to be washed at a specific location. We will have new special packages set up and huge promotion sales in the near future.



5.) What would you like for us to know about your business?

The service we offer would be more of a necessity for businesses such as car dealerships, or companies with a pickup service. Our service is more of a luxury than a necessity for individuals. Our customer base is primarily those who care about the appearance of their automobile more than the average person.

6.) If it wasn’t for (blank) you wouldn’t be who you are today?

If it wasn’t for the mistakes we have made in the past, the people we’ve encountered in our lifetime, our Christian beliefs, our loved ones that have always encouraged us, the obstacles that we’ve had to overcome we wouldn’t be Donald and Adrian. Everything in our lives that has happened to us plays a role in the way we have grown to become men.
