360 Talk Show: Stephanie Denise Knowles

360 Talk

Radio hosts are known for opinions and advice, but sometimes they can lose sight of the importance of responsibility to the communities that listen to them. With 360 Talk, a collective of six individuals set on community improvement through inspiration and ministry, the radio game has shifted to strengthening and uplifting the listeners and serving the needs of the community in a radio broadcasting capacity.Whether its inspirational topic discussions, stories of perseverance, or advertising for local businesses and organizations, 360 Talk aims to create a more cohesive image of what it means to be serve the community.

Don't forget to check out  the full interview with 360 Talk Show host Stephanie Denise Knowles.

What is your favorite motivational quote and why?

My favorite motivational quote is "Strength does not come from winning; your struggles develop your strengths.  When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength." - Mahatma Gandhi.

In our lives, we will face struggles and obstacles.  The struggles that you go through will build your strength, character and perseverance if you continue to go through the process.   Your struggle is a part of your story. When you outlast the struggle, you have a new testimony that will not only benefit you, but the next person you meet along the way.

Why do you think that it’s important to support local businesses and organizations?

It is important to support local businesses and organizations because local ownership builds strong communities, social relationships, and secures the money within the local economy.

Local businesses and organizations that are product-based provide diversity that can best meet the needs of the local customer. America's economic innovation is built upon entrepreneurship.  When we all pull together and support the local businesses and organizations, we all benefit from each other in different ways.

If you could change one thing about the radio industry, what would it be and why?

I would want radio personalities to realize that they have an influence on the perceptions of others when stories are reported or discussed on air.  Many radio programs reach people locally and abroad. As radio personalities, we have the responsibility to report the facts with integrity and provide our viewpoints responsibly.

What motivated you to start your own radio show?

I was motivated to start 360 Talk because I understood that I had the calling to influence many lives in a positive way through service and ministry.  In our society, we have many people that are hurting because of the different experiences that they have gone through.  The purpose of 360 Talk is to inspire, motivate, empower, educate, and transform lives in a 360-radius.

How did you come up with the name 360 Talk?

The name of 360 Talk was built on the concept of "Challenging every aspect of your life in a 360 radius."  In order to make positive changes in your life, you must work on all aspects of your life in a holistic and 360 radius (spiritually, physically, and mentally).

What makes your radio show different from others?

The difference with my radio show is that our existence is to inspire and motivate others, not just through talk, but through the act of transformation as well.  Many radio programs provide inspiration and motivation, but "What's next?"  360 Talk provides not only inspiration and motivation, but the action plan to take you to the next level.

Tell us about Master Piece of a woman? When is the next event?

The Masterpiece of a Woman was a great event.  360 Talk held this event to celebrate women.  This event provided women with the reminder that they are fearfully and wonderfully made with the message to "know your worth".  Also, proceeds for this event were donated to the Genesis Women Shelter in Dallas, Texas to assist women that are in transitioning from domestic violence relationships.

What would you like for us to know about 360 Talk?

360 Talk has team of six individuals (Gerald Simmons, Jr., Monalisa Cash, Vanessa Powell, Kevin Floyd, Stephanie Knowles and Floyd Rainey) that are real people with real talk on where transformation begins.  We want our listeners to know that as a 360 Talk team we love our community and we are here to serve.

Fuzionz Magazine & T.V.: Shenoba Kinsey

Fuzionz Magazine/TV

Mass media broadcasting is a new trend in gaining national and sometimes worldwide, recognition for a particular issue or cause. As it relates to reaching a more youthful demographic, it seems that social media is the stronger option. However, Fuzionz Magazine and Fuzionz TV use print and television media to promote community awareness.

The mission of Fuzionz Magazine & T.V. is to hi-light people & organizations who are touching the lives of others and working hard towards the betterment of the community. This community based magazine also likes to hi-light and promote those in the entertainment industry, authors and up and coming artists. Their focus in on the community. Their purpose is to celebrate diversity and to cultivate unity.

Find out more about Fuzionz Magazine and Fuzionz TV by reading the full interview with Shenoba Kinsey the Chief Editor and Owner.

1.Tell us about the mission of Fuzionz  Magazine/T.V.

Our mission is to shed light on individuals or organizations who are giving back to the community by doing great things to improve the community.  We also cover success stories and survival stories to help someone else who may need to be encouraged or uplifted. There are a lot of broken people, and the belief is that someone always has something to say that can help someone else down the road. We have the opportunity to interview celebrities that have inspiring stories as well.

It started out as a youth magazine – I saw a lot of youth that were broken. I was already writing books, so I decided to lay out a magazine for the same purpose. I spent a lot of time watching the behaviors and mindsets of young people. Some of them came from single parent homes while others had both parents (although they may have still be absent to the needs of the child).

2.What was your inspiration behind the name Fuzionz Magazine and T.V.?

I started by writing down names with the intent to come up with something to “spark” this idea off the ground. That’s when I came up with “Fuze” – I connected this word with “spark.” But, I didn’t want to name it “Fuze,” so I kept thinking and eventually came up with “Fuzionz.” To reach a wider community I added Fuzionz TV as a video media component.

3.Why is it important that you show love to local business owners?

It is important to show love to local business owners because the make up the community.  They give back through their services and products.

4.What can we expect from your latest issue?

As always, expect positive interviews.  These are interviews from people who want to share their success and survival stories with the world.  They want to pass along their journey to success along with how they leaned on God, or how they came to know Him.

5.How much does it cost to purchase an Ad for your magazine? Are you running any specials?

The cost of the ads varies, but I can be contacted at fuzionzmagazineandtv@hotmail.com for a list of prices. The specials that I am running right now until the end of June are:  $50 – business cards; $65.00 – 1/3 page; $85.00 – ½ page; $110 – full page; $135.00 – 2 page spread; Video Ads -$200.00.

6.What do you hope that your readers will gain from reading your magazine?

I hope that those who are afraid to go after their dreams will be inspired towards success.  Some of the people that are successful weren’t always where they are, but through the grace of God, hard work and effort, they made it.  I made it this far, but it wasn’t always easy, sometimes it still isn’t, but I trust in God and keep pushing forward.

7.Do you have any upcoming events?

Fuzionz will be active at various upcoming award shows and a golf tournament.  We just interviewed on the Stellar Awards Red Carpet, the ASCAP, and the screening for David and Tamela Mann’s new sitcom, “Mann & Wife.”

8.Please provide us with your social media information?

She has a victorious attitude and pours her entire self into her projects. Currently she is the Owner/CEO of two (2) flourishing business.

Kurvz Boutique is a trendy plus size fashion boutique for the Curvaceous and Bodacious woman. Cassie said in an interview with Flawless Plus Magazine, "I aspire to inspire women of all ages and every nationality to obtain high fashion clothes and shoes at an affordable cost!" When she walks in the room her voluptuous appeal will demand your attention. Most noticeably, Cassie is not your average size 8 sister. Oh no! But a sensual size 18 & struts those stilettos like she is walking on clouds.
Her newest brain child is ICONIQ Teen Model Agency. ICONIQ is a fresh & new modeling agency for TEENS and young adults ages 12-21. Our unique and selective signature offers our clientele the highest quality choice of talent with a mix of edgy, chic & classic models.  Watch out world, Cassie Cole is on full throttle. To read more about her and Iconiq Teen Model Agency check out the interview below!

1.  Tell us about Iconiq Teen Model Agency.

ICONIQ is a fresh & new modeling agency for TEENS and young adults ages 12-21.Our unique and selective signature offers our clientele the highest quality choice of talent with a mix of edgy, chic & classic models. We offer training and the skills needed for young aspiring models to be successful.
ICONIQ understands that there is a place for everyone in this world. The definition of  ICONIQ is that of distinctive excellence, fierce, flawless, distinguished and debonair.

2.  What is the one thing you would like for readers to know about Iconiq Teen Model Agency?

ICONIQ is the first ever of its kind with the focal being on the teens and young adults. We do not wait for opportunities, we create them. We are changing the game in the fashion industry! We are a diverse group of aspiring models who will unequivocally be Ambassadors for Future Faces of Fashion. We are not just great...we are ICONIQ!!

3.  Do you plan on incorporating Toddlers and younger children into your Agency in the future? If yes, please explain.

Although we love the babies, currently toddlers and younger children are not a part of our platform simply because our demographics, training and coaching tailored strictly for teens and young adults. There are so many kids and adult outlets already in motion across the nation but not many for teens and young adults. As we grow, I am sure we will expand and eventually bring on kid talents 11 and under.

4.  What is the process to join your Agency?

We welcome tall, petite, Jr Plus, male & female models. Anyone interested may submit his/her info via out our website under the “Contact Us” tab and fill out the questionnaire. One of our recruiters will contact the model and or parent if under the age of 18 to set up an interview. We also have quarterly Model Calls with the next being in Sept 2015. These are open model calls. We generally promote the date, location and time via social media.

5.  Please explain how you educate your teens to be successful in modeling?

We want to make sure that we provide our clients with the ultimate ICONIQ experience so our training process is fierce. It is extremely important to know each models aspiration coupled with identifying his/her strengths/weaknesses in order for the training to be successful. For example, if a model has no experience in runway but aspire to become a runway model we will make sure proper training & coaching is provided before booking a gig for that model. The model will go through Runway 101 Classes and learn the basics of runway. We conduct a series of training classes and it takes a huge commitment from the model as well as the parent.

Our Boot Camps are held bi-weekly with classes in Runway, Etiquette, Print Model Posing and Commercial. We teach our models the proper way to pack a model bag for fashion shows, model calls or photo shoots, the standard model call attire, how to speak clear and eloquently during interview evaluations, how to prepare for photo shoots, how to brand themselves, how to build their portfolios, etc. We take pride in our teens/young adults leaving a great lasting impression on all of clients to build long relationships.

6.  What are a few tips that you can give parents that want to introduce their children into modeling?

1st Make sure it’s something the child wants to do otherwise you will waste your money.  There is so much talent out there and usually the kids know exactly what they want.  As a parent we have to know there is a fine line between supporting & pushing the child towards their dream and the parent living their dream through the child which is not healthy for either. That is why we have a screening process in place & stress the commitment from both the child & the parent prior to signing. We place all efforts towards coaching and development before we send our talent out for bookings.

2nd Research! Before you spend any money, do the work. Please research the agencies if that is what you want for your child. Visit their location, talk with other models, and ask to sit in on one of the training sets. It’s worth the trouble and if the agency has good intentions with your child, they won’t mind.
I have fallen victim to many agencies that have taken my money & sold me a dream but did not do anything with my daughter. That is because I did not do the research. I thought reading their website was enough; it is not.
Because I am a boutique owner and often showcased in fashion shows (17 shows in 12 months in 2014) my daughter was able to hit the runways because I put her out there, not the agencies. I was lucky, I had an alternate opportunity for my daughter but that is not the case for most parents.
After both my daughter and I participated in New York Fashion Week in the fall of 2014, she as a model and I as a boutique we both gained a lot of national attention. She received more offers for runway; I received my clients and sales! Because of that experience I began to get calls, emails and inboxes on FB from parents wanting to know which agency my daughter was with. At the time it was funny because my answer was the same “Not with an agency, just with her Mommy” I hadn’t realized there were so many parent like myself who’d spent thousands of dollars with agencies but no results.
The reason ICONIQ exists today is because I was tired of being taken advantage of. My daughter is the sole reason I created ICONIQ because I wish to help other parents who has experienced the same. The difference is that ICONIQ equals results. I’m sure people are seeing the incredible tings we are doing with the youth.

Check out the interview below to learn more about Flawless Honey!

1. How did you come up with the name Flawless Honey?

Whenever I would see a Glamorous person I would often say " You're Flawless Honey!"  As time passed others in my circle began to use the saying as well.  It became almost like a noun to describe any person, place or thing that was Glamorous. When I decided to start my clothing line I knew that I could only pick a name that not only described my vision but had a hint of my personality.  After Beyoncé  came out the song " Flawless" that was the icing the cake. The song represented a woman being confident in who she was. So I took the saying " Your Flawless Honey" + the inspiration behind the song " Flawless" by Beyoncé and birthed the  name " Flawless Honey Couture."

2.  What makes  Flawless Honey different from other clothing lines?

It's different because its one of the kind you won't see my designs anywhere else. My pieces are  limited edition as well as custom made to order. With " The Honey Collection"  the designs are made using the best luxurious digital fabrics found from across the world.

3. Name three Designers who inspire you?
If I had to choose three it would definitely be Roberto Cavilla, Versace and Ese Azenabor.

4. Describe your line Flawless Honey in four words.
Four words that I would use to describe my line would be Exceptional, Lifestyle, Bold  and Exclusive.

5. When will Flawless Honey be available for purchase? How can we purchase pieces from the collection?
My pieces will actually be available for purchase around mid May. Flawless Honey can be purchased online as well as in local boutiques. The actual date of the launch and the location of boutiques will be announced soon.

6. Will Flawless Honey be featured in any stores or open a store of it’s own?

Yes, my collection will be featured in mid level luxury boutiques and we are working towards opening a  Flawless Honey boutique in the near future.

7. Do you have any up and coming events?
We look forward to launching the Grand Opening of our online boutique in mid May.

8. Tell us anything you would like us to know about Flawless Honey.

The Flawless Honey Collection will be more than a clothing line.  The future of Flawless Honey will include a children's line, a cosmetic line as well as a shoe line.  At the age of six I began designing clothes for my dolls. In the near future I plan on designing a line for dolls inspired by Flawless Honey.  I will also start a non- profit organization to give back to the community. That idea started when a homeless man gave me a skirt and refused to take my money.
9. Can you provide us with Flawless Honey’s social media information?
