A.D. Smoove: Actor & Entertainer

A.D. Smoove is a jack of all trades and can be seen working in multiple industries. A.D. Smoove is a force to reckoned with because he is definitely a triple threat. He is a  actor, music artist and entrepreneur of his own company SMOOVE MUSIC. There is no doubt that this man isn’t on his grind and climbing his way to success. He recently became the host of Credence Radio which airs on Fishbowl Radio Network. He is constantly evolving and willing to accept new business endeavors no matter how challenging they may be. 

Although A.D. works in the entertainment industry he always remains positive. He recently posted on Facebook “No matter how hard it is.. I will always respond positively.” He plans to encourage people to adapt a similar mindset  to always maintain an optimistic and positive attitude in the pursuit their dreams.
Although A.D. works in multiple industries, he makes it a point to put his faith and family first.He is a source of inspiration for young men in the entertainment industry and an example that you don’t have to change who you are to be successful. Growing up as a natural entertainer, its safe to say A.D. Smoove found his niche at an early age.

Having been in the DFW metroplex for over 15 years, the once New Orleans native has made his way around the industry using his many talents. As an actor, he has been performing in stage plays and also have several film projects and web-series' in the making. A.D. Smoove  hopes to land a contract with a movie or television show. He is constantly perfecting his craft by going to acting classes and studying his favorite actors.

1. What inspired you to become an actor?

I’ve had a passion for entertaining all my life. As a child, I would always do impersonations of everyone around the house so it only became natural to pursue it.

2.  If you could perform with any celebrity who would it be and why?

It would have to be with a great actor like Will Smith or Denzel so I can pick their brain the entire time. I’m always willing to gain knowledge to perfect my craft.

 3.What advice would you give to inspiring actors?

I’ve been taught that you can do anything you want to do if you just put your mind to it. So I would pass that message along; always give your all with anything that you do, as if it were your last time doing it.

4.    What mistake did you make as an actor that you would never make again?

I learned the hard way that you only get one time to make a first impression. Your audition process should be treated as a lasting impression and you should make sure you are prepared because most of the time you won’t get a second chance.

5.    What is your favorite city to perform in and why?

Well I’ve only performed in a few touring stage-plays, and we didn’t do much traveling outside the DFW metroplex besides a stop in Tulsa.

 6.    What actor you admire the most?

Wesley Snipes. He’s played almost every character you can think of and was always highly respected doing so, from a b-ball player to a drug boss to a martial-arts action star.
